Senior Lecturer / English Language Department

Qualification Requirements:

• Master’s degree (research and pedagogical), a PhD degree from a university with international accreditation and/or recognition (preferably foreign) in the relevant field;

• English – C1, Kazakh/Russian – B2;

• Internationally recognised certifications (CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL), IELTS 7.0+;

• 3–5 years of teaching, research or professional experience;

• Foreign university experience, membership in research/professional communities, participation in professional or international educational and research projects;

• Up-to-date knowledge of teaching methods and modern educational technologies;

• Training in English language teaching;

• Basic computer skills, knowledge of ICT for learning English, experience with AI tools;

• Strong organisational skills, initiative, striving for professional development and participation in research, sociability, teamwork, critical and reflective pedagogical thinking;

• Preferred: experience in developing new courses, online courses, and academic publications.
