
A Kazakh-German seminar on the development of legislation concerning equity participation in housing construction was held at Maqsut Narikbayev University. The exchange of views took place within the framework of cooperation between the Republican Notary Chamber of Kazakhstan and the Federal Notary Chamber of Germany.
Richard Bock, Chairman of the Commission on International Notarial Cooperation, delivered a keynote speech, presenting a report titled “Familiarisation of Notaries with Consumer Protection Issues in the Field of Real Estate Law.” Christian Schall, representative of the German Federal Notary Chamber, also addressed the participants, speaking on the economic significance and legal structure of contracts concluded with developers.
The event prompted a lively discussion, reflecting the shared commitment of both sides to strengthening cooperation and improving the legal framework. Such initiatives contribute to enhanced consumer protection and the creation of more transparent conditions for real estate transactions.
Assel Zhanabilova, Chair of the Republican Notary Chamber, highlighted the importance of international experience exchange in this area.
Earlier, MNU had also hosted a Kazakh-French seminar on the cross-border recognition of documents.
