More than 400 applicants have been awarded state educational grants to pursue their studies at Maqsut Narikbayev University. The list of grant recipients was officially published yesterday by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
This year’s grant competition saw a record-breaking number of applications — approximately 113,000. In total, over 77,000 educational grants were allocated nationwide. At MNU, the most in-demand programme among grant recipients was Translation Studies, with applicants required to score a minimum of 120 points on the Unified National Testing (UNT) in order to be eligible.
It is worth noting that prospective students may also apply for the university’s internal grant programmes. Maqsut Narikbayev University organises the national Maqsut Narikbayev Scholarship Olympiad, as well as Olympiads for international applicants and graduates of NIS and BIL schools. The MNU Admissions Committee will continue operating through 25 August (inclusive).
Maqsut Narikbayev University extends its heartfelt congratulations to all recipients of state educational grants and wishes them continued success in their academic journey.
