More than 200 specialists have been awarded state educational grants to pursue Master’s and Doctoral programmes at Maqsut Narikbayev University. The most in-demand programme this year was Law.
As noted by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, over 20,000 applicants participated in the national competition for Master’s degree grants. At MNU, the grants were allocated across six Master’s programmes (Law, Finance, Economics, Translation Studies, Applied Linguistics, and Counselling Psychology) and two Doctoral programmes (Law and Economics). In total, the university offers 16 postgraduate programmes.
The list of Master’s grant recipients is available on the website of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, while the list of Doctoral grant recipients is published on the university’s official website. The submission of documents for postgraduate programmes will continue until 28 August inclusive. It should be noted that earlier more than 400 applicants were awarded state grants for Bachelor’s degree programmes at the university.
