Exactly 30 years ago, the people of Kazakhstan, through a nationwide referendum, adopted their Constitution. This fundamental law serves as a guarantor of the rights and freedoms of every citizen, a strong foundation for our statehood, and ensures the stable development of the republic. The Constitution is the bedrock of national unity and the country’s independence, fostering the well-being of its citizens.
Scholars from Maqsut Narikbayev University made a significant contribution to the drafting of key provisions of the Constitution. In anticipation of this special day, several professors have been honored with state awards. Additionally, the university actively supports the Institute for Constitutional and Political Studies, which conducts both fundamental and applied research aimed at advancing and implementing constitutional reforms.
MNU congratulates all Kazakhstanis on the 30th anniversary of the Constitution and wishes prosperity and success to the nation!
