
Maqsut Narikbayev University continues to expand its international partnerships, having signed memoranda of understanding with prominent universities in the People’s Republic of China.
The agreements were concluded during the Eighth Meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council, held in Beijing. On behalf of the University, Provost Sergey Pen signed memoranda with Heilongjiang University (Harbin) and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (Wuhan). In addition, an agreement was signed with East China University of Political Science and Law (Shanghai).
Maqsut Narikbayev University maintains cooperation with over 100 international partner institutions. The newly signed agreements are aimed at enhancing collaboration in the fields of education, research, and innovation, and at further strengthening academic ties between Kazakhstan and China. The parties also discussed potential joint projects in the area of foreign language studies, including academic exchange programmes for students and faculty members.
It should be noted that the meeting of the Kazakh-Chinese Business Council took place as part of the official visit of the Head of State to the People’s Republic of China.
