Prince William Presents Order to Chair of the MNU Board of Trustees

Prince William has presented the Order of the British Empire to Christopher Campbell-Holt, Chair of the Board of Trustees of Maqsut Narikbayev University. The official ceremony took place at Windsor Castle in Windsor, England.

Earlier this June, Christopher Campbell-Holt was awarded the title of Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE). This year, 110 individuals received the prestigious honour for exceptional service to the United Kingdom overseas or on an international level. The award recognises outstanding contributions to British foreign policy and international development, as well as voluntary and charitable work.

The Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland highlighted Christopher Campbell-Holt’s leadership and vision, which have been instrumental in establishing the AIFC Court as a model for international dispute resolution across Eurasia. A distinguished expert in international law and finance, he has over 20 years of professional experience in the United Kingdom, the United States, the Middle East, and Central Asia. Christopher Campbell-Holt has chaired the MNU Board of Trustees since January 31st, 2025.
