As part of the ongoing Al Jazeera Week at the International School of Journalism, Maqsut Narikbayev University, journalist and Al Jazeera correspondent Adnen Chaouachi delivered an open lecture for students and fellow media professionals.
The session, titled “How to Film Natural Disasters with a Mobile Phone,” attracted strong interest from attendees. Drawing on his extensive field experience, Mr. Chaouachi discussed the ethical and technical aspects of reporting in crisis situations and the evolving role of mobile journalism (MoJo).
Participants learned about real-time news coverage, storytelling techniques, and global best practices in digital reporting.
