We are happy to share exciting news – LSEG/Refinitiv Financial and Data Science Lab is officially there! The Lab was opened on October, 16 with the opening ceremony being held by the LSEG Academy representatives:

MNU was represented by Chairman Talgat Narikbayev, Provost Sergey Pen, ISE Dean Saule Kemelbayeva, Finance Programmes Coordinator Zhanar Aldambergenova, faculty, and students.
Refinitiv, which is now a part of the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), is the world’s largest provider of financial and economic data. Its reliable and rich data is used by portfolio managers, financial analysts, financial investigators, economists, and journalists around the world. We place great emphasis on a data-driven approach by teaching students advanced data management and data analysis skills to develop informed decisions and design evidence-based policies. Our programs in Finance are recognized by the CFA Institute and GARP (the Global Association of Risk Management Professionals).
Our “Economics and Data Science” undergraduate program includes a large data science component where students learn advanced quantitative and visualisation techniques to work with real data.
