On October 12, 2023, the School of Law hosted the opening of the Business Law research club, dedicated to the legal, financial, and tax aspects of company capital formation and profit repatriation.
The meeting took place in Room 302 and gathered students of civil law specializations, as well as those studying business and accounting at the International School of Economics.
During the session, participants discussed practical issues related to forming the capital of limited liability partnerships through charter capital and internal loans and examined the financial, tax, and legal implications of such operations for both investors and companies.
Special attention was given to the interrelation between financial indicators, taxation, and legal aspects in the process of profit and cash flow repatriation from investment projects.
In addition, participants learned from the experience of planning and implementing investment activities in major Kazakhstani and international companies.
The lecture was delivered by the School of Law faculty — Teaching Professor Andrey Kudyarov, with over 15 years of experience in the Big4 and international corporations, and Teaching Professor Ester Babadjanyan.
The opening of the Business Law club became an important step in advancing a practice-oriented approach to legal education and creating a platform for knowledge exchange among students, professors, and practicing professionals.
