On May 29, 2024, the Scientific School of Labor Law at Maqsut Narikbayev University held a Research Workshop on the topic “Labor Law Regulation in Kazakhstan and the AIFC.”
The event took place in Room 401 and brought together faculty members, students, and experts in the fields of labor and international law.
During the seminar, PhD, Associate Professor of MNU Muslim Khasenov delivered a presentation titled “Labor Law of Kazakhstan and the AIFC: Issues of Correlation and Application,” while Doctor of Law, Associate Professor of MNU Nikita Lyutov presented on “The National Legal System of Kazakhstan and the AIFC Norms: Are They Compatible? The Example of Labor Law.”
During the discussion, participants explored key issues concerning the interaction between national legislation and the legal system of the Astana International Financial Centre, with special attention given to the possibilities of harmonizing legal regulation and to the practical aspects of applying AIFC norms in the field of labor relations.
