Free Professional Development Course Administrative Law: Theory and Teaching Practice (Using the German Case-Solving Methodology)

From September 24 to 26, 2023, Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted a free professional development course titled “Administrative Law: Theory and Teaching Practice (Using the German Case-Solving Methodology),” organized by the School of Administrative and German Law in cooperation with the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation (IRZ).

The educational seminar was designed for lecturers of administrative law and was conducted in Russian with the participation of leading German experts.

Together with their German colleagues, participants studied the features of the German methodology for drafting, reviewing, and evaluating administrative law cases, applying it to the example of the Administrative Procedural Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The event was held in person and marked an important step in advancing a practice-oriented approach to teaching administrative law.
