Another Dissertation Council Established at MNU

A new Dissertation Council has been established at the International School of Economics of Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU). The Council was formed in accordance with an order issued by the Chair of the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Dissertation Council is a collegial body responsible for conducting the defense of doctoral dissertations and submitting recommendations to the relevant committee of the профиль ministry for the awarding of the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree. The term of operation of the Dissertation Council for the defense of dissertations for the PhD degree in the fields of “Economics” and “Business and Management” is three years. The Council is chaired by Saule Kemelbayeva, PhD, Dean of the International School of Economics. The Council members also include Alisher Aldashev (Deputy Chair, PhD, Professor), Azat Aituar (Member, PhD, Associate Professor), and Binur Yermukanova (Academic Secretary, PhD, Assistant Professor).

It should be recalled that MNU offers two doctoral programs in the fields of economics and law.
