Kuanyshbek Yesekeyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, paid a working visit to Maqsut Narikbayev University, where he reviewed the university’s activities and met with its management.
The meeting focused on MNU’s strategic priorities in the field of artificial intelligence. Mr. Yesekeyev was briefed on ongoing projects and expressed confidence in the continued expansion of cooperation. This year has been designated by the Head of State, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, as the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence.
During the visit, MNU’s development team presented the progress of an artificial intelligence model designed to enhance the efficiency of legal processes. The initiative aims to advance regulatory forecasting mechanisms and carries significant practical value for the country. The delegation was also informed about plans to host the second international legal case championship, Legathon MaxUP 2026, titled “The Law of the Future,” in the spring of this year, as well as the launch of a new academic program in artificial intelligence.
