
The Dean of Woosong University and Endicott College, Yoo Taek Lee, delivered a lecture at Maqsut Narikbayev University. The globally recognized practitioner spoke about the importance of operations management in the era of artificial intelligence.
During the lecture, the expert emphasized the importance of transitioning from passive memorization to a model of continuous learning. Yoo Taek Lee presented an analysis of Kazakhstan’s key industries and explained how a systematic approach can transform technological resources into real economic growth. In his view, systems thinking enables a precise understanding of the role of AI in business, which is especially important for the development of healthcare, fintech, and agriculture in the country.
Students and faculty members from universities across the capital attended the lecture. Professor Yoo Taek Lee spoke as part of the implementation of the state innovation programme AI-Sana for the development of artificial intelligence. Professor Yoo Taek Lee also toured with MNU’s infrastructure, highly praising its innovative approach to organizing the educational process.
“I am very impressed with Maqsut Narikbayev University. The infrastructure here is outstanding, and there is a very strong creative atmosphere. It is clear that all the conditions have been created not only for students to study, but also to create and bring new ideas to life,” emphasized Yoo Taek Lee.
It should be noted that Yoo Taek Lee heads the International School at Woosong University (South Korea) and serves as Dean of Endicott College (USA). He is the author of the global reference guide on operational excellence and executive education, Lean Six Sigma Toolkits.
