Maqsut Narikbayev University invites scholars, practitioners, and young researchers to participate in the International Interdisciplinary Scientific and Practical Conference on Applied Research in the fields of Language, Tourism, Psychology, and Artificial Intelligence. The event will take place on May 15–16, 2026.
Special emphasis is placed on supporting undergraduate and master’s students. Experienced researchers are also encouraged to join the dialogue, share their expertise, and engage in mentorship, fostering the development of an open and collaborative academic community. The conference will be held in an in-person format, with online participation available for international attendees and speakers.

The International Interdisciplinary Conference on Applied Research in Language, Tourism, Psychology, and AI aims to unite young researchers, scholars and practitioners, working across Applied Linguistics, Translation Studies, Tourism & Hospitality, Psychology, and Artificial Intelligence. The conference places a particular emphasis on supporting emerging researchers, including undergraduate students, master’s students, early-career scholars, and graduate students preparing for research careers. At the same time, the event warmly welcomes experienced academics who wish to mentor, support, and engage in meaningful dialogue with early-stage researchers, fostering an open and collaborative research community.
The conference focuses on four primary areas: Applied Linguistics, Translation Studies, Tourism & Hospitality, and Psychology. In addition to these core fields, the programme also includes Artificial Intelligence as a complementary area of inquiry. While AI is not the central theme of the event, it serves as an important additional perspective that can enhance research discussions across the main disciplines.

Registration Fee
Participation is free of charge for bachelor’s students of MNU University.
For bachelor’s students of other universities and master’s students the registration fee is 5,000 KZT.
For faculty members (teaching staff) the registration fee is 10,000 KZT.
The registration fee must be paid after the participant has received official confirmation of acceptance from the Committee. Payment instructions will be provided by email.
Conference Programme
