Maqsut Narikbayev University (MNU) has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Coventry University Kazakhstan. The parties agreed to develop joint projects in science, artificial intelligence, and English language education.
The memorandum was signed by MNU Provost Anar Ibrayeva and President of Coventry University Kazakhstan Miras Daulenov. The agreement provides for cooperation in the field of AI, joint research initiatives, preparation of grant funding applications, and research internships for students. The sides also agreed to organize continuing professional development courses, programs for English language teachers, and joint educational events.
The delegation of Coventry University Kazakhstan also toured MNU’s campus and infrastructure. It is worth noting that the branch of one of the United Kingdom’s leading universities opened in Astana in September 2024. Currently, the university offers six academic programs.
Earlier, MNU also discussed prospects for partnership with Cardiff University Kazakhstan.
