The President of Kazakhstan presented state awards to a number of citizens. Among the recipients were professors of Maqsut Narikbayev University, Sergey Udartsev and Marat Akhmadi.
A ceremonial event dedicated to the adoption of the Constitution took place at the Akorda residence the day before. The Head of State signed the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and congratulated all citizens on the adoption of the Fundamental Law. In addition, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev specifically highlighted the productive work of the Constitutional Commission, emphasizing the extensive and effective efforts that clearly demonstrated the importance of mutual trust and partnership between the state and society.

During the event, the President awarded state honors to several citizens for their significant contribution to the country’s socio-economic development, as well as for strengthening the rule of law and public order. Sergey Udartsev, Professor Emeritus and Doctor of Law, was awarded the Order of Parasat. Professor Marat Akhmadi, PhD, was also honored with the medal “Eren Enbegi Ushin”.
It should be noted that MNU professors were members of the Constitutional Commission and contributed their proposals.
