Arai Bekembayev, Head of inDrive’s business operations in Kazakhstan, delivered a guest lecture at Maqsut Narikbayev University for students.
Aray Bekembayev shared his personal success story and offered valuable advice on building a career in a large international company. He also spoke about inDrive’s projects in education, science, and the arts, and explained how technology and artificial intelligence help eliminate systemic barriers and improve the efficiency of public administration. The speaker encouraged students to define their mission while still studying in order to make a conscious choice between employment and starting their own business.
Aray Bekembayev has extensive experience managing large-scale projects in IT, business transformation, and process automation. He is a graduate of the American University in Dubai and Nazarbayev University. In 2020, he became the first Kazakhstani employee of inDrive, and two years ago he was appointed Head of the company’s business operations in Kazakhstan.
It is worth noting that inDrive is a globally popular platform for transportation and urban services. The company operates its largest regional hub in Kazakhstan, employing more than a thousand people.
