The winners of the Rakhat Mamyrbek Political Journalism Contest were recently award ceremony in Almaty.
Among the prize winners are MNU International School of Journalism students Aklima Bolatovna and Amina Kozbakova.
Aklima Bolatovna in her work raised the urgent problem of homeless animals, and Amina Kozbakova investigated the financial transparency of religious organisations. Both topics elicited a lively response from the judges.
It should be noted that MNU students traditionally actively participate in various contests and Olympiads, demonstrating a high level of preparation. Winning the Rakhat Mamyrbek competition is another confirmation of MNU’s reputation as a leading educational institution in the field of journalism in Kazakhstan.
