From Almaty to Astana. From Kazakhstan State University to Maqsut Narikbayev University. Since 1994, our university has opened its doors in Almaty, the southern capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2002, the University has moved to the new capital of the country — Astana. In 2020, Maqsut Narikbayev University was rated as the No. 1 University in the ratings of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the NCE Atameken. Find out more about the history of our university below.
