Asselya Abildayeva Appointed Director of the MNU Business School

Maqsut Narikbayev University is pleased to announce the appointment of Asselya Abildayeva as Director of the MNU Business School. In her new role, she will oversee the implementation of academic programmes and drive the strategic development of the school.

Ms Abildayeva brings extensive experience in higher education and project management. From 2016 to 2022, she served at the Bolashak Center for International Programmes, progressing from Senior Project Manager to Head of the Graduate Work Department. In November 2022, she joined MNU as Head of the Endowment & Alumni Department.

She holds degrees from the Nazarbayev University Graduate School of Education and the University of Southern California, and is a member of the Board of the Bolashak Association. Alongside her new responsibilities, Ms Abildayeva will continue to oversee the activities of the University’s Endowment Fund and alumni engagement initiatives.

MNU extends its sincere gratitude to the former Director of the Business School, Rafkhat Bozbaliyev, for his contributions and partnership, and wishes Ms Abildayeva every success in her new role.
