Development and Support of a Draft Law on the Regulation of Collective Labor Relations

Since March 2024, Maqsut Narikbayev University has served as the key developer of the draft Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan aimed at reforming collective labor relations.

The work on the draft law was carried out by professors of the Scientific School of Labor Law at MNU in close cooperation with the Project Office of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

As part of the document’s preparation, 17 meetings of the Working Group under the Senate were held with the participation of representatives of government bodies, trade unions, employers, and other social partners.

This broad expert discussion made it possible to comprehensively refine the proposed amendments and confirmed the high importance of the initiative for modernizing the system of collective labor relations regulation in the country.
