Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted a two-day seminar initiated by Digital Kyzylorda. Fifteen entrepreneurs from the Kyzylorda region exchanged experiences and took part in sessions focused on the growing role of artificial intelligence.
The programme featured expert lectures, business presentations, and networking with leading representatives of small and medium enterprises in Astana. Participants attended sessions on digital transformation, startup support, and the expanding impact of AI. The event was organised in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Kazakhstan and the UNDP.
“Digital Kyzylorda represents more than just technology. It’s a gateway for entrepreneurs to harness their potential and influence the future of their communities. At UNDP, we’re firm believers that sustainable development starts at the local level, and we take pride in leading Kyzylorda’s growth,” said Katarzyna Wawiernia, UNDP Resident Representative in Kazakhstan.
Special attention was given to education and digital skills. Participants highlighted the importance of free certified training courses as a tool to ensure lifelong learning. This approach directly contributes to advancing UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education).
