Renat Bekturov, Governor of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC), visited Maqsut Narikbayev University as the first guest of the newly launched Tabys Syry project. This initiative features a series of lectures by leading experts from various industries, with a distinctive focus on delivering sessions in the official language.
During his visit, Renat Bekturov shared his personal success story with students and engaged in an interactive Q&A session. He also provided insights into the financial sector’s dynamics, career opportunities, and future prospects. Students gained valuable knowledge about the Presidential Youth Personnel Reserve, key principles of professional growth, and the impact of the AIFC on Kazakhstan’s economy.
“To become a skilled professional, you need a balance of technical (hard) and interpersonal (soft) skills. You are first recognized for your expertise, so developing analytical thinking and forecasting abilities is crucial. However, to advance in your career and step into leadership roles, you must also refine soft skills such as communication, negotiation, and team management,” emphasized Renat Bekturov.
Notably, in 2017, Renat Bekturov was the author and lecturer of the CFA Professional Ethics course for students of the MNU International School of Economics. His efforts helped lay the foundation for the university’s educational programs to gain affiliation with the CFA Institute (Global Association of Finance and Investment Specialists). In recognition of his contribution to improving the quality of MNU’s educational programs, Chairman of the Board, Talgat Narikbayev, awarded him the Order of Dostyk.
Meanwhile, the MNU International School of Economics highlighted that the Tabys Syry project aims to enhance business communication in the Kazakh language. As part of this initiative, renowned industry leaders will share their success stories and provide valuable career guidance to aspiring professionals.
