On February 4, 2025, the World Bank presented its Kazakhstan Economic Update 2025: «Funding the Future – Boosting Revenues for Lasting Investments». The event featured opening remarks by Andrei Mikhnev, Country Manager for the World Bank in Kazakhstan.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Azamat Agaidarov, Economist at the World Bank, highlighting Kazakhstan’s economic performance, fiscal challenges, and strategies for sustainable growth. The discussion covered tax reforms, public investment efficiency, infrastructure development, and green taxation.

During the panel discussion, representatives from the Ministry of National Economy, the Agency for Strategic Planning and Reforms, and the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of Kazakhstan shared insights on fiscal policy stability, national development priorities, and private sector growth.
