Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted a lecture by Zhenis Yelemesov, Deputy Chairman of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring. The session was delivered to law students as part of their professional training.
During the lecture, Zhenis Yelemesov outlined the fundamentals of ensuring financial security and investigating economic crimes. He also presented case studies related to the exposure of cryptocurrency fraud schemes. The lecture was held within a minor (additional specialisation) for students enrolled in the Law programme.
Maqsut Narikbayev University serves as a base institution for training specialists for the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Financial Monitoring. In addition, a new minor, Financial Intelligence and Financial Security, will be launched in the next semester.
