Gabit Bekakhmetov has become a member of the Board of Trustees of Maqsut Narikbayev University. He is an education sector leader with over 15 years of professional experience.
Mr. Bekakhmetov is the founder of the Paradigm Shift and Maruf Education Trust projects, which foster innovative school networks, leadership development programmes, and educational technologies. As Chair of the Board of the Republican Physics and Mathematics School, he played a key role in the modernisation of Kazakhstan’s STEM ecosystem. He is a graduate of the University of Oxford and Duke University, and the author of several books.
It should be noted that the Board of Trustees is a collegial advisory and consultative governing body of MNU.
