MNU places a strong emphasis on connecting students with Kazakhstan’s rich history through immersive experiences. Last year initiatives include a historical excursion to Ulytau, the “Cradle of the Kazakh Khanate,” where students explored significant sites such as the mausoleums of Alasha Khan and Zhoshy Khan and Bronze Age petroglyphs. Another trip, took students to Western Kazakhstan to witness the sacred fire lighting ceremony on Mount Otpan Tau. Additionally, the school organized a tour along the Great Silk Road, allowing students to connect with historical landmarks and deepen their appreciation of their cultural heritage. Through these experiences, MNU reinforces its commitment to helping students understand and value their nation’s past.
