Sergey Pen, Provost of Maqsut Narikbayev University, participated in a forum dedicated to promoting academic integrity, held at Zhubanov University.

The forum brought together representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Anti-Corruption Agency, the Akimat of Aktobe Region, and the leadership of approximately 40 domestic universities. The event was organised as part of the Law and Order week, initiated by the Head of State. Its aim was to strengthen the principles of academic integrity, prevent corruption, and support the development of regional universities.
This open platform for dialogue allowed participants to highlight the crucial role of academic integrity in higher education and its impact on enhancing the quality of learning. Members of the Academic Integrity League shared practical experiences in reinforcing academic values and presented outcomes of the digital transformation of the educational process. Additionally, the establishment of a consortium was announced to further promote academic integrity in schools and colleges.
Founded in 2018 at the initiative of Maqsut Narikbayev University, the Academic Integrity League has become a key institution in advancing ethical standards in education. Over the years, it has contributed significantly to fostering a fair, transparent, and responsible academic environment.
