Maqsut Narikbayev University and the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan have signed a memorandum of cooperation. The agreement covers key areas such as digitalisation and the promotion of legal culture.
As noted by Deputy Minister of Justice Bekbolat Moldabekov, this strategic step will improve the quality of legal services and make legal assistance more accessible to every citizen. The partnership will focus on introducing digital technologies and artificial intelligence into the fields of law and education, as well as developing the nationwide project “Legal Clinic”, which provides free legal assistance to the people of Kazakhstan. In addition, both sides will prioritise the training of a new generation of lawyers who embody the values of justice, transparency, and accountability enshrined in the Constitution.
“For more than 30 years, our university has been a centre of expertise in the legal sphere. Now, together with the Ministry of Justice, we are taking the next step — integrating cutting-edge technologies to prepare specialists capable of realising the principles of a just state and the concept of ‘Law and Order’,” said Sergey Pen, Provost of Maqsut Narikbayev University.
The signing of the memorandum took place on the eve of the 30th anniversary of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
