Experts, scholars and professors became the first readers of the new textbook Kazakhstan’s Law on International Treaties: Commentary and Practice Review. The presentation of the book by Abay Abylaiuly, Assistant Professor at Maqsut Narikbayev University, took place at the university yesterday.
Published in both Kazakh and Russian, the textbook offers a comprehensive academic and practical commentary on the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan On International Treaties, including concrete proposals for improving its provisions. It also presents an analysis of codification and implementation processes in the field of international treaty law, an overview of Kazakhstan’s treaty-making practice, and practical guidance on the application of international law norms at the national level. Young researchers of the MNU School of International and Private Law played an active role in the development of the publication.
It is noteworthy that this year the university’s professors have published a number of books on the evolution of criminal legislation, administrative law, legal terminology, Islamic law and Roman private law.
