Maqsut Narikbayev University held a meeting of its Board of Trustees, during which participants reviewed the results of the year.
The meeting featured a brief report on the University’s activities and achievements in 2025. Key highlights included the implementation of major research initiatives, such as the launch of an AI laboratory, a digital database of international treaties, a University-wide data repository on the Harvard Dataverse platform, and grant-based mechanisms to support research. The University also continued its efforts to enhance the quality of education, introduce AI-driven courses and new academic programmes, expand dual degree programmes and academic mobility, and strengthen international cooperation.
Members of the Board emphasised students’ successes in national and international competitions, as well as the University’s leading positions in domestic and global rankings. In addition, Christopher Campbell-Holt, Registrar and Chief Executive of the AIFC Court, was re-elected as Chairman of the MNU Board of Trustees.
