
PhD, Associate Professor of Maqsut Narikbayev University, Gulfiya Kuchumova, has received the Nailya Bazanova Award, established for women scientists of Kazakhstan. The award ceremony took place in Almaty at the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
A total of 66 leading women scientists and researchers became recipients of the new award. They have made significant contributions to the development of national science and achieved notable results in various scientific fields. Across the country, about 13,000 women are employed as scientific researchers.
It should be noted that Nailya Bazanova is known as an outstanding national physiologist and the first female academician in Central Asia. In addition, she is the founder of a new branch of biological science — the physiology of farm animals. The establishment of the award named after her serves as a mark of recognition aimed at encouraging women scientists who have achieved high scientific results, made discoveries, or made significant contributions to the development of applied research.
