The new academic year has officially commenced at Maqsut Narikbayev University. Classes for the autumn semester began on 2 September.
This year, more than 1,800 students have joined MNU, including recipients of state scholarships and the university’s own internal grants. The university has also welcomed 26 international students from the United Kingdom, China, Russia, Germany, Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Serbia.
MNU now offers 15 undergraduate programmes, with Law emerging as the most sought-after field among first-year students. Prior to the start of classes, the university hosted an Orientation Week, during which new students became acquainted with the campus infrastructure, academic process, and the wide range of opportunities for personal and professional growth.
In addition, nearly 300 professionals have enrolled in postgraduate programmes, including master’s, doctoral, and MBA tracks. A significant number of master’s students are studying on state-funded scholarships.
