Visually-Impaired Version 
Maqsut Narikbayev University welcomed Her Excellency Piyapin Niyomreks, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to Kazakhstan. During her visit, the Ambassador met with the university leadership and was introduced to the campus infrastructure.
Ambassador Niyomreks assumed her post as Head of Thailand’s diplomatic mission to Kazakhstan earlier this spring. In her meeting with MNU Chairman of the Board Talgat Narikbayev, she discussed opportunities for strengthening international cooperation in the fields of education, science, and culture. The Ambassador highlighted the hospitality of the Kazakh people and praised the excellent conditions created at the university for both students and faculty.
It should be noted that Thailand is among Kazakhstan’s key trading partners in Southeast Asia. Over the past six years, bilateral investments have exceeded 100 million US dollars.
