
On the anniversary of Maqsut Narikbayev University, nine distinguished professors were awarded the honorary title of Professor Emeritus in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the university’s development and the academic community.
The Professor Emeritus title is conferred upon professors in recognition of their invaluable role in shaping the university, advancing its mission, and fostering the academic community. Chairman of the Board of MNU, Talgat Narikbayev, congratulated the awardees and expressed his deep gratitude for their dedication. He also presented them with special robes, honorary orders, and certificates.
The recipients of the Professor Emeritus title are widely respected figures in the country, with many having played a key role in establishing a rule-of-law state. Based on the decision of the Academic and Research Council of MNU, the title was conferred upon: Sarah Idrysheva (PhD, Associate Professor), Zhannetta Kalisheva (PhD, Associate Professor), Tolesh Kaudyrov (PhD, Professor), Klara Kim (PhD), Marat Kogamov (PhDPhD, Professor), Lepuda Mukatayeva (Candidate of Historical Sciences), Ramazan Nurtayev (Doctor of Law, Professor), Sergey Udartsev (Doctor of Law, Professor) and Unzila Shapak (Doctor of Law). Most of these esteemed professors continue to serve at the university, with an average academic and professional experience of 45 years.
MNU recognizes the profound impact of its professors, valuing their expertise and dedication as an inspiration for future scholars. Additionally, Professor Emeritus titleholders will receive a lifetime monthly allowance as a token of appreciation for their lasting contributions.
