The fourth International Scholarium Conference is taking place at Maqsut Narikbayev University, bringing together more than 200 foreign language teachers.
The event has united representatives from the education sectors of Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Cyprus and other countries. The conference is organised by the Scholarium Community of Foreign Language Teachers and is also attended by students, postgraduates, and members of the academic staff of the MNU School of Liberal Arts.
The conference programme features a series of lectures, masterclasses and practical workshops led by experts. Participants are discussing topics such as the use of digital tools in teaching, the integration of subject and language learning, scaling educational projects and the nuances of content marketing. Additionally, experts share insights on effective preparation for IELTS and Cambridge examinations, educational approaches for children and adolescents, innovative teaching methods and strategies for professional development.
Maqsut Narikbayev University offers bachelor’s and master’s programmes in Applied Linguistics and Translation Studies. Earlier, Anar Ibrayeva, Dean of the MNU School of Liberal Arts, spoke in an interview about these programmes and the University’s ambition to become the leading liberal arts, language, and certification centre in Central Asia.
