The President of Kazakhstan has presented state awards to a number of citizens. Among those honored were professors of Maqsut Narikbayev University.
The official ceremony, dedicated to the adoption of the Constitution,j took place at the Akorda Presidential Palace. The Head of State signed the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan and congratulated all citizens on the adoption of the Basic Law. Kassym-Jomart Tokayev particularly noted the productive work of the Constitutional Commission, emphasizing the extensive and effective work carried out, which clearly demonstrated the importance of mutual trust and partnership between the state and society.

During the ceremony, the President awarded state honors to several citizens for their significant contributions to the country’s socio-economic development, as well as to strengthening law and order. Emeritus Professor, Doctor of Law Sergey Udarcev was awarded the Order of “Parasat,” while Professor, PhD Marat Akhmadi received the “Eren enbegi ushin” medal. In addition, Assistant Professor, Candidate of Legal Sciences Almas Zhumagali was also awardedm the “Eren enbegi ushin” medal.
It is worth noting that MNU professors were members of the Constitutional Commission and contributed their proposals.
