A meeting was held at Maqsut Narikbayev University between the university’s management and Arken Arystanov, Chairman of the Management Board of the Kazakhstan Agency for International Development (KazAID). The parties discussed promising areas for future cooperation.
The main focus of the discussions was on potential formats of collaboration within the framework of the second International Legal Case Championship, International Legathon MaxUP 2026. The competition, jointly organized with the international law firm Baker McKenzie and the AIFC Court, will take place in the spring of this year under the theme Law of the Future. It is expected to bring together students from 14 countries.
It should be noted that KazAID is a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Agency implements state policy in the field of official development assistance, contributing to development and sustainable growth in recipient countries, promoting Kazakhstan’s achievements in various fields, and facilitating the exchange of experience and the establishment of professional contacts among specialists from different countries.
