Visually-Impaired Version 
Maqsut Narikbayev University discussed the contribution of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur to the development of world literature, science and culture. A cultural and educational event was held at the university to mark the birthdays of these great poets of Uzbekistan.
Special attention during the event was given to the role of Navoi and Babur in strengthening shared values and promoting intercultural dialogue. A book exhibition was also organized, featuring the poets’ works. The event brought together members of Parliament, representatives of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, members of the diplomatic corps, university professors, and students.
“The cultures of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan have close historical and humanitarian ties. Studying the literary and philosophical heritage of Alisher Navoi and Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur is important for understanding the shared cultural space of the region. It also contributes to strengthening intercultural dialogue in the academic environment”, emphasized MNU Provost Anar Ibraeva.
It should be noted that the event was organized jointly with the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kazakhstan and the Uzbek Ethnocultural Center of Astana.
