At Maqsut Narikbayev University, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Estonia to Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, Jaap Ora, delivered a lecture as part of the “Intercultural Communication” course.
The diplomat spoke about the history and culture of the Republic of Estonia, as well as its achievements in digitalization. He emphasized the country’s unique traditions that reflect harmony. The Ambassador also answered students’ questions.
“Together with the students, we discussed the importance of understanding different cultures for achieving success at work. It is a good practice to invite Ambassadors as course speakers. I have visited MNU several times and am always glad to come to the university, as we highly value the opportunity to communicate with young people,” said Jaap Ora.
It should be noted that Kazakhstan and Estonia are successfully developing economic cooperation. In addition, the Baltic state is considered a pioneer in e-governance and digital services.
