Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted Bakhtiyor Ibragimov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan to Kazakhstan, who delivered a lecture for future diplomats.
Ambassador Ibragimov spoke about the bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations and outlined Uzbekistan’s development trajectory. He emphasised that both countries hold leading positions in Central Asia and share responsibility for the region’s overall economic progress. The Ambassador also answered students’ questions.
“Meetings of this kind with students are extremely important and beneficial, as they will soon be making major and significant decisions for their country. It is essential to share experience and provide opportunities to analyse and engage with those who make decisions. This will give them a solid understanding and knowledge of international relations,” noted Bakhtiyor Ibragimov.
It should be recalled that MNU also offers a dual-degree programme jointly with Tashkent State University of Law.
