Zharas Assylbayev Appointed Vice-Provost for Student Affairs at MNU

Zharas Assylbayev has been appointed Vice-Provost for Student Affairs at Maqsut Narikbayev University. In this role, he will oversee educational activities and address student social issues.

Zharas Assylbayev brings experience from several educational centres and is the founder of the Smart+ language school. He joined the MNU team in October 2020 and has since progressed from Student Housing Manager to Head of the Department of Student Affairs (DSA). Under his leadership, the CSI course (Creativity, Service, Intelligence) has been introduced, major events such as Student Initiation, Graduation Ceremony, and Presidential Ball have been organised, and a number of student-focused projects have been launched.

He is a graduate of Pavlodar State University (2017) and Karaganda Buketov University (2021). It is worth noting that the previous Vice-Provost, Maksat Musabekov, stepped down due to a transfer to another organisation.
