Key Responsibilities:
- • Teaching:
- ○ Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Theory of Law / Private Law / Criminology.
- ○ Mentor and advise students on academic and career pathways.
- ○ Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.
- • Research:
- ○ Conduct original research in Theory of Law / Private Law / Criminology and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
- ○ Pursue external funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
- ○ Collaborate with faculty and students on interdisciplinary projects.
- ○ Create a community of young researchers interested in the field of professor’s expertise
- • Service:
- ○ Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
- ○ Engage with the community and contribute to outreach programs.
- ○ Support the department’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.
Qualifications:
- • Ph.D. in Law from an accredited institution. Preferable areas of specialization: Theory of Law / Private Law / Criminology
- • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to student success.
- • A strong research agenda with a track record of publications.
- • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
