Assistant Professors for courses in Theory of Law / Private Law / Criminology

The Law School at Maqsut Narikbayev University seeks a dynamic and dedicated Assistant Professors to contribute to our academic community. It is highly expected that Assistant Professor will actively collaborate with students in order to promote academic and research career among them and to create a community of young researchers interested in the field of professor’s expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• • Teaching:
  • ○ Develop and deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in Theory of Law / Private Law / Criminology.
  • ○ Mentor and advise students on academic and career pathways.
  • ○ Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technologies to enhance learning outcomes.

• • Research:
  • ○ Conduct original research in Theory of Law / Private Law / Criminology and publish findings in peer-reviewed journals.
  • ○ Pursue external funding opportunities to support research initiatives.
  • ○ Collaborate with faculty and students on interdisciplinary projects.
  • ○ Create a community of young researchers interested in the field of professor’s expertise

• • Service:
  • ○ Participate in departmental, college, and university committees.
  • ○ Engage with the community and contribute to outreach programs.
  • ○ Support the department’s diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts.

Qualifications:

• • Ph.D. in Law from an accredited institution. Preferable areas of specialization: Theory of Law / Private Law / Criminology
• • Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a commitment to student success.
• • A strong research agenda with a track record of publications.
• • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.
