Today, Maqsut Narikbayev University hosted an open lecture by Didar Karimsakov, Chairman of the Management Board of Qazaqstan Investment Corporation (QIC), a distinguished financier and proud MNU alumnus who has made a significant contribution to the country’s economy and investment sector.
Drawing on his extensive leadership experience, the speaker shared insights with students on current trends in venture capital, investment strategies, and startup evaluation. He also offered valuable professional advice and practical tips.
In addition, Mr. Karimsakov conducted a hands-on masterclass on how to confidently and effectively pitch a business idea to investors.
“Clear, concise messaging, deep analysis, and confidence – are the key tools for gaining investor trust,” he emphasized.
Pitch Contest: “Why Should I Invest in Kazakhstan?”
At the end of the lecture, Mr. Karimsakov announced a student competition. Participants are invited to create a 3-minute video pitch on the topic “Why should I invest in Kazakhstan?”
