The HR & Law professional development programme has concluded at Maqsut Narikbayev University, with 55 specialists receiving certificates for the successful completion of their training.
Implemented for the fourth time, the HR & Law programme was delivered in an online format. Over the course of 2.5 months, heads and senior specialists from national trade union and employer associations, as well as legal and human resources departments, studied the full spectrum of labour relations and the fundamentals of HR management. The curriculum included an in-depth review of more than one hundred labour dispute cases — covering topics such as the distinction between labour and civil law contracts, employee transfers and dismissals, remuneration issues, investigations of workplace accidents, and the regulation of collective bargaining.
The programme was taught by seven highly qualified experts with extensive practical experience in the field, the majority of whom are professors at MNU. All course materials, including those authored by the lecturers, have been uploaded to the specialised Canvas educational platform, where graduates will retain permanent access to the resources.
It is worth noting that the HR & Law programme is an interdisciplinary initiative at the intersection of law, human resource management, and conflict resolution. Its content is unique and has no direct equivalent currently available on the market.
