The MIND Research and Analytics Centre at Maqsut Narikbayev University is a driver of change in education, science, and public policy. We promote a culture of data-driven decision-making and strengthen the research capacity of higher education and science.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the development and implementation of MIND’s research roadmap, selecting and supporting promising projects by MNU faculty;
• Overseeing the commercialisation and application of research;
• Assisting MNU faculty in transforming their research results into analytical reports and policy briefs, and presenting them at roundtables and academic seminars for stakeholders from the public and private sectors;
• Building and maintaining strong partnerships with the leadership of MNU’s Schools and academic units to ensure integration and synergy in research initiatives;
• Expanding collaboration with research institutions, government agencies, and international organisations for joint research projects;
• Strategically managing the process of identifying, preparing, and submitting grant applications;
• Shaping MNU’s external policy impact and positioning the university as a research hub.

We are looking for someone who:
✔ Holds a Master’s degree and has at least 3 years of experience in research coordination or project management;
✔ Is proficient in quantitative/qualitative methods (Python/R, NVivo, etc.);
✔ Is fluent in Kazakh, Russian, and English (spoken and written);
✔ Demonstrates strategic thinking, strong analytical skills, and leadership abilities.
