Grant Manager

The MIND Research and Analytics Centre at Maqsut Narikbayev University is seeking an experienced and proactive Grant Manager to secure funding and support research and consulting projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Identifying national and international grant opportunities;
• Preparing project applications and budgets, from initial concept to full proposals;
• Communicating with donors and research teams;
• Administering awarded grants and preparing reports;
• Training staff in grant management.

We are looking for someone who has:
✔ A Master’s degree in Economics, Law, Project Management, or a related field;
✔ 5–7 years of experience in grant preparation and administration;
✔ Proven track record of successful fundraising;
✔ Fluency in Kazakh, Russian, and English;
✔ Strong knowledge of grant mechanisms, regulatory frameworks, and budgeting;
✔ Professional certifications such as PMP, CMPE, CRA, or similar (preferred).
