Visit of Mr. Jonatan Vseviov, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia

On November 28, 2023, MNU welcomed Mr. Jonatan Vseviov, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Estonia, on an official visit. During the meeting, Mr. Vseviov held a discussion with students majoring in International Law, dedicated to the system of international law based on norms and principles, its future, and contemporary challenges. He also spoke about Estonia’s foreign policy course and its vision for shaping the future world order. In his lecture, Mr. Vseviov emphasized six key principles essential for maintaining peace and security at both regional and global levels.

The meeting attracted great interest among students and faculty, becoming an important platform for discussing issues of international relations and diplomacy. The University expressed its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in the Republic of Kazakhstan for its initiative and support in organizing the event.
